Authorities have released additional information about the human remains that were found New Year’s Day at Ridley Creek State Park in Delaware County.
Pennsylvania State Police told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the remains are those of a white female in her late teens to 20s. Police have not identified the woman; an autopsy is scheduled for this week.
According to a description provided to the Inquirer, the woman was about 5-foot-3 with a slender build, size 9 feet, “prominent” teeth, and light brown or blond hair.

The remains had likely been there ”quite some time,” a source told the Delaware County Times. They were found by a hiker off Barren Road, about a 15- to 20-minute into the woods, the Delaware County Times said.
