Driver Escapes Vehicle Fire Unharmed: Berwyn Fire Co.

This is the second vehicle fire to break out in Tredyffrin Township this week.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Emergency crews responded to another vehicle fire in Tredyffrin Township this week, and luckily no one was injured.

According to the Berwyn Fire Company, the fire broke out at about 6:39 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 202 south at Valley Forge Road.

By the time crews arrived, the driver had escaped the vehicle, which was on fire, safely.

The fire was extinguished shortly after responders arrived, the fire company said.

During the incident, the 202 south ramp from Valley Forge Road was closed until about 7:20 p.m.

Tredyffrin Township Police also responded to the scene.

Earlier this week, the fire company responded to a vehicle fire on Old Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn.
