DUI, More Charges Filed After Crash On I-476 In Radnor

A Montgomery County man crashed into a construction vehicle while under the influence on Interstate 476 in Radnor Aug. 9, state police said.

RADNOR, PA — An early August crash on Interstate 476 in Radnor Township led to a DUI and related charges for a Montgomery County man, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash occurred at about 8:48 p.m. Aug. 9 at mile marker 14 on the highway in Radnor, police said.

The driver, Christopher Jaeger, 42, of Royersford, was heading north on I-476 when he crashed into a construction vehicle that was stopped and unoccupied in the right lane of an active work zone, according to authorities.

Police determined Jaeger was under the influence of alcohol and took him into custody for driving under the influence, state police said.

Court records show Jaeger pleaded guilty DUI in Montgomery County in 2017, as well as guilty to receiving stolen property, drug possession, and firearm violations in separate cases.

Jaeger is scheduled for an Oct. 11 preliminary hearing for the Radnor crash case, according to court documents.
