Free Box Fans Available For Radnor Seniors
Need a fan to cool off during the oppressive heat? Radnor Police and the Wayne Senior Center are offering free box fans for Radnor seniors.
RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — As the region's temperatures skyrocket to dangerous levels, Radnor Township Police and the Wayne Senior Center are offering older residents free box fans to stay cool.
According to Radnor Police, seniors who need a fan can call the Senior Center at (610) 688-6246 to get a fan. Seniors who do not have access to transportation can get their fans delivered.
In addition to the senior center offering fans, the police department also has a limited number of fans.

The Wayne Senior Center extended their hours of operation due to the extreme heat. Anyone needing to cool off can stop in Wednesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Radnor residents with elderly neighbors should check on them during the heatwave and call 911 in the event of a heat-related emergency.
