Gentlemen's Choice Barber Shop Opens in Wayne

Gentlemen's Choice Barber Shop has opened in Eagle Village Shops. It replaces Radnor Barber Shop, which closed in December.

Owner Anatoly Stavropolsky also has locations in Paoli and Dresher in Montgomery County. Read a profile article on Stavropolsky here. But he will be spending most of his days cutting hair in the new Wayne location.

Cuts cost $18 and include a hot lather shave with a blade around the back of cutomers' necks. It's a lost art that many people do not do, he told Radnor Patch.

Each cut takes about 12 to 18 minutes, and reservations are recommended but not required. The shop's hours are Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Kiev, Ukraine native has been in the United States since 1988 and has been in the business for 35 years.
