Guide Rail Work To Affect 3 Delco Highways Through Early June
Guide rail repairs will affect Interstate 95, Interstate 476 and U.S. 1 beginning next week and lasting through early June, PennDOT said.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Overnight lane and shoulder closures are scheduled on several state highways in Delaware County next week, with some work lasting through early June, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, guide rail repairs will affect Interstate 95, Interstate 476 and U.S. 1, beginning Monday, May 11
Weather permitting, these operations are scheduled to take place Sundays through Fridays, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Friday, June 5.

The work schedule is:
- Northbound and southbound I-95 between the Delaware State Line and Bartram Avenue Interchange in Chester, Chichester, Lower Chichester, Ridley and Upper Tinicum townships, Upland and Ridley Park boroughs and City of Chester;
- northbound and southbound I-476 between I-95 and Montgomery County Line in Ridley, Nether Providence, Marple, Haverford and Radnor townships;
- and northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Township Line Road/Media Bypass) between the Chester County Line and the Montgomery County Line in Upper Darby, Haverford, Springfield, Marple, Upper Providence, Middletown, Birmingham and Concord townships and Chester Heights Borough.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
