Lanes Closing On Interstate 476 Throughout Delco Next Week: PennDOT
These closures will affect traffic on I-476 north and south between Interstate 95 in Ridley and Interstate 76 in West Conshohocken.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Interstate 476 in Delaware County will have daytime and nighttime lane closures due to work on a major road repair and resurfacing project, PennDOT said.
These closures will affect traffic on I-476 north and south between Interstate 95 in Ridley Township and Interstate 76 in West Conshohocken Borough.

- Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on sections of southbound I-476 between the U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and I-95 interchanges for milling and paving.
- Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on the on-and off-ramps from the U.S. 1 (Lima/Springfield) Interchange (Exit 5) to northbound and southbound I-476 for milling and paving.
- Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. , a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Baltimore Pike between Turner Road and Paper Mill Road in Nether Providence and Springfield townships, Delaware County, for overhead bridge repair.
- Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound I-476 from just south of the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) Interchange to the Media/Swarthmore Interchange for ITS installation under a separate I-476 improvement project to install and integrate Variable Speed Limit (VSL) and Queue Warning (QW) systems.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur.
