Limited Free Parking Available On Lancaster Ave In Wayne
As crews work on the Wayne Business Overlay District Tree Planting Pavement and Resurfacing Project, some spots on Lancaster Ave are free.
WAYNE, PA — With the Wayne Business Overlay District Tree Planting Pavement and Resurfacing Project underway, Radnor Township said parking in select spots will be free as work continues.
According to the township, paving has begun on the township-owned street-adjacent parking on the eastbound side of Lancaster Avenue, east of North Wayne Avenue.
Until the paved spaces have been numbered and lined, parking in only those spaces is free, the township said.

The numbered spaces outside the area specified above still have regular parking rates.
In addition to announcing the free parking spaces, the township said the project's schedule has shifted.

As the project enters phase two, the schedule will be as such:
- Friday, Oct. 4 – Pave North Wayne Avenue
- Monday, Oct. 7 – Mill the north side of Lancaster Avenue, west of North Wayne Avenue
- Tuesday, Oct. 8 – Pave Lancaster Avenue
- Wednesday, Oct. 9 – Mill the south side of Lancaster Avenue, west of S. Wayne, and West Wayne Avenue
- Thursday, Oct. 10 – Pave Lancaster and West Wayne avenue
Parking is prohibited in these areas between roughly 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. when work is underway.
