Man Dies After Crashing Stolen Car In Radnor: Report

The car was stolen from the 200 block of Pine Tree Road in late March. Police said the keys were inside the unlocked vehicle.

WAYNE, PA – Back in March, a vehicle was stolen from a Radnor Township home. Police said the suspect stole the car easily as the keys were inside the unlocked car. The thief then died crashing that stolen car, according to a report.

Main Line Media news reports Tracy Palmer, 24, of Philadelphia, died after crashing the stolen Lexus on Schuylkill Expressway.

A vehicle was stolen in Radnor on March 2 from the unit block of Brown's lane in the township.

Another vehicle was stolen in the township on February 27, as well.

The outlet reports Randor Police believe Palmer may not have been working alone and that authorities in the greater Philadelphia area are looking to uncover a car theft ring.

This theft occurred on the 200 block of Pine Tree Road between evening of Thursday, March 23 and the morning of Friday, March 24.

The vehicle was parked in a residential driveway and was unlocked with the keys accessible inside the vehicle, police said.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles overnight, make use of exterior driveway illumination if possible and set alarms where applicable, police said.
