Newtown, Radnor Chester Roads Closing Weekdays Through Nov. 20

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Newtown and Radnor Chester roads in Radnor Township are closing weekdays from Aug. 20 to Nov. 20, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said the roads will close daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for gas main work.

See details on each road closure below:

• Radnor-Chester Road between Newtown Road and Conestoga Road. Motorists will be directed to use Darby Paoli Road, Bryn Mawr Avenue and Route 320 (Sproul Road)
• Newtown Road between Radnor-Chester Road and Darby Paoli Road. Motorists will also be directed to use Darby Paoli Road, Bryn Mawr Avenue and Route 320 (Sproul Road)

Local access will be maintained up to through the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

All activities are weather dependent.
