Newtown Road In Radnor Closing Daily Through Late February
PECO will be installing gas mains along the road starting Jan. 28, forcing the road to close daily for about a month, PennDOT said.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Road in Radnor Township will be closed daily beginning next week and lasting through late February, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, PECO is planning a weekday road closure on Newtown Road for gas main installations.
The closure will be in place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 through Thursday, Feb., 28.

The affected area is between Radnor-Chester and Darby-Paoli roads.
During the closure motorists will be directed to use Darby-Paoli Road, Bryn Mawr Avenue and Sproul Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
