However, a light snowfall began Thursday, Dec. 11, and the National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

There should be only light accumulation on Thursday, the NWS said, though “there is the small potential for brief, heavier snow bands which could have local impacts on travel.”

Roads could be slick Thursday morning, the NWS said, urging caution.

Some flights out of Philadelphia International Airport were being delayed Thursday morning because of low cloud cover, The Philadelphia Inquirer said.
