Oil Spilled In Little Darby Creek Sunday: Radnor Fire Co
Oil leaked into Wayne's Little Darby Creek Sunday morning, prompting responders to act and help contain the spill Sunday.

WAYNE, PA — Radnor Fire Company crews took care of an oil spill in a local creek Sunday morning.
According to the fire company, crews were called to the creek behind homes on the 300 block of South Devon Avenue in Wayne for a report of oily, gassy odors in the area.
Responders found a heating oil drum outside of an apartment's garage, as well as a thin layer on the creek's surface, the fire company said.

Oil containment socks and blankets were used at several spots along the creek to help prevent the oil's spread.
Radnor Township officials were notified of the incident and were on scene investigating.

All apparatus and firefighters were cleared from the scene by 11 a.m.
