Old Eagle School Road To Be Closed Weekdays Through Oct. 1

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Old Eagle School Road weekdays between Upper Gulph Road and U.S. Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, on Wednesday (Sept. 17) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday. The weekday closure will be in effect through Oct. 1.

During this operation, Old Eagle School Road through traffic will be detoured over Upper Gulph Road, Wayne Avenue and Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The construction schedule is dependent on the weather.
