Philly Beer Week Events Near Radnor
Philly Beer Week is not just confined to the city. See what events will come to the local area.

Starting this week, breweries and bars around the greater Philadelphia area will be celebrating Philly Beer Week, a 10-day showcase of the area's best brews and pubs.
The event begins Friday, June 3 and will continue through Sunday, June 12.

Events include live music, "tap takeovers" by select breweries, beer gardens, and more. And events are not confined the city of brotherly love: beer week will hit communities in south Jersey as well as Chester, Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Philly Beer Week aims to "highlight the region’s diverse beer scene – its world-class breweries, neighborhood taverns, trend-setting restaurants and rich beer culture and history," according to its website.

The week's first featured event is on Friday, June 3 with a Russian River Tap Takeover at Via Marconi Pizza Pub in Hatfield.
Meanwhile, the official Philly Beer Garden opens at Spruce Street Harbor Park on Saturday. Special events continue at the park every day through June 12. Featured local breweries include Victory, Yards, Sly Fox, and Terrapin.

- June 3, 3 p.m.: Dogfish Head at Teresa's Next Door, Wayne
- June 4, noon, Founders KBS Draft Vertical 2012 through 2016 at Capone's
- June 4, 2 p.m.: Riverhorse 20th Annual Celebration, Teresa's Next Door
- June 5, 11 a.m.: De Molen Brewer's Brunch, Teresa's Next Door
- June 6 at 6 p.m., 10 Barrel Draft Event at Capone's
- June 7, 3 p.m.: Van Steerbrage, Teresa's Next Door
- June 9, 3 p.m.: Firestone Walker, Teresa's Next Door
