Radnor County Announces Nighttime Work On Bryn Mawr Avenue Between Barbara Ln And Drexel Road

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) resumed activity on the Bryn Mawr Avenue project over a week ago. The single lane closure is still in place during the construction restrictions. To significantly reduce the duration of the project, the contractor will be working two shifts per day, from 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Much of the work is labor intensive so large equipment noise will be fairly minimal, and large truck deliveries will be scheduled to occur during daytime hours.

By working from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, weekdays, the project will now be completed on June 19th, as opposed to August 19th. This accelerated schedule will allow the road to be fully opened almost two months earlier.
