"It is such a privilege to end my Radnor Actors Workshop experience with such an incredible production," DeSanto said in a press release. "The cast is so incredibly talented. I enjoy a challenge, and this is one I will not forget."

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and are available online here. Tickets may be also purchased at the door for $10 a student and $15 for adults.

"We are very excited to present this masterpiece of American theater," said Dietzler. "The students and I have had many engaging conversations about the characters, history and dramatic structure of this work. They are aware of the challenge it presents to them as young actors, and have been working hard."

First produced in 1952, "The Crucible" explores the threshold between individual guilt and mass hysteria, personal spite, and collective evil. The setting is Salem, Mass. in 1692: an enclave of rigid piety huddled on the edge of a wilderness. Its inhabitants believe unquestioningly in their own sanctity. But their very beliefs will have poisonous consequences when a vengeful teenager accuses a rival of witchcraft—and then when those accusations multiply to consume the entire village.
