Radnor School Board to Consider Bids for High School Road Improvements
The Facilities Committee recommends the acceptance of Ply-Mar's $1.496 million bid to improve traffic flow around Radnor High School.

The Radnor Township school board will have the opportunity at Tuesday’s meeting to move the district’s plan to improve traffic conditions at the high school.
Sealed bids for the project were opened March 10, and the district’s Facilities Committee has recommended the acceptance of a $1.496 million proposal from Ply-Mar Construction, which is headquartered in Plymouth Meeting.
The project, approved by the school board in August 2014, will feature:

- Widening Raider Road to allow right and left turn lanes
- Left turn lane going north on Radnor-Chester Road into the parking lot for Main Line Health
- Left turn lane heading south on Radnor-Chester Road into Raider Road
- Right-turn only traffic exit onto Radnor-Chester Road
- Turn-around area in the academic lot
- Ten additional parking spots
- New canopy for a student drop-off area next to the cafeteria
The school board meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Radnor Township building.
