Radnor Schools Superintendent Leaving District
Dr. Michael Kelly will conclude his service as Radnor's superintendent of schools effective August 25, 2016.

The Radnor Township School District’s superintendent has announced he will be leaving the district this summer.
According to an announcement on the school district’s website, Dr. Michael Kelly has advised the school board he is no longer considering a renewal of his contract, and intends to conclude his service as Radnor’s superintendent of schools effective August 25, 2016.
“The Board is very grateful to Dr. Kelly for his dedicated and diligent leadership of the district during a period of significant change and difficult challenges. While we were disappointed by his decision, we are pleased that Dr. Kelly is fully committed to leading the district through August and supporting a smooth leadership transition prior to departure. We wish him the very best, now and always,” the board said in the announcement.

The board said it will undergo a “comprehensive search” for Dr. Kelly’s permanent replacement.
Kelly said he was thankful for the opportunity to serve the Radnor school community.

“I have benefited immensely by getting to know so many talented and dedicated colleagues. The countless students and staff accomplishments that occur every year in Radnor are amazing. Additionally, I believe the District is making great strides in building professional relationships with parent, community, and teacher organizations. I am confident that the systems approach to leading and managing the District put into place over the past couple of years has the District on a positive path moving forward,” he said.
