Radnor Trails Council Holds Inaugural Meeting

A new trail is already planned through 71 scenic acres of the Ardrossan Farm Estate.

A new trail in Radnor is planned through the 71 scenic acres of the Ardrossan Farm estate, according to Main Line News Media.

The township purchased the land from developer Edgard Scott for $11.6 million so they could preserve it, the report states.

The Radnor Conservancy called Monday’s meeting as the first gathering of the Radnor Trail Council, which will plan the construction of the trails, according to the report.

The new trails would connect with already existing paths in parks such as the Willows, Skunk Hollow, and Saw Mill, the report states.

A variety of local conservation groups and and interested parties are raising funds to help with trail construction and conservation measures.
