Roads Closing For South Wayne Flood Reduction Work
A Flood Reduction Project will force various road closures starting May 31 and lasting through November, according to Radnor Township.

WAYNE, PA — Flood reduction work in South Wayne will force various road closures and parking restrictions through November, according to Radnor Township.
Closures and restrictions will start Tuesday, May 31.
On Tuesday, the South Wayne Municipal Park Lot will be closed starting through November.

Then from June 17 through September, South Wayne Avenue will be closed from Runnymede Avenue to West Wayne Avenue, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
From Aug. 1 through Aug. 21, weekday closures will affect School Lane from South Wayne Avenue to about 1,000 feet, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure time period will be updated as the project moves forward.

Also, Aug. 1 through Aug. 21, West Wayne Avenue will be closed from South Wayne Avenue to past the Post Office, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. This time period will also be updated as the project moves forward.
Lastly, Runnymede Avenue will be closed from South Wayne Avenue to the municipal parking lot entrance, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Sept. 12 through Sept. 16. This closure will be updated as the project moves forward.
The township said there is overlap in the road closure scheduling and that not all streets will be closed concurrently.
South Wayne Avenue drivers will be detoured from Conestoga Road to Lancaster Avenue.
