Sip, Bite and Bid to Support Philly's Top-Ranked Charity HelpHOPELive

Join the No.1 ranked Philadelphia nonprofit HelpHOPELive at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 17 for its annual HelpHOPE-Live it up! benefit at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne. Make a difference by supporting a local organization that positively impacts the lives of thousands of patients and families who face severe financial hardship because they need a lifesaving transplant or are living with a catastrophic injury or illness.

The benefit will feature delicious food stations presented by some of the Main Line’s best restaurants and caterers, live music by The Country Westernaires and fantastic silent auction items. The evening will also honor three community heroes who prove why HelpHOPELive’s mission matters, including a recently paralyzed Jefferson Medical College student, with the presentation of the 2014 Help, HOPE and Live awards. The event will be held at Mellon Hall at Valley Forge Military Academy: 1001 Eagle Road in Wayne. Tickets are $125, or $60 for guests under 30 and can be purchased online. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, starting at $500. A portion of each ticket/sponsorship purchased is tax deductible.

HelpHOPELive was founded by a Temple transplant surgeon in 1983 who wanted to help more patients have access to transplant procedures. Today the organization is a national nonprofit engaging communities in fundraising to help patients and families ease the financial burden of a myriad of medical crises, including transplants, spinal cord injuries and other catastrophic injuries and illnesses. Since inception, HelpHOPELive has assisted more than 7,000 patients and families with community-based fundraising – providing more than $82 million in financial support to cover uninsured, needed, medical costs.
