Spring Events At Wayne Art Center

Below are some events taking place at the Wayne Art Center this spring:

• Summer Art Camp Open House, Saturday April 14 10 AM-2 PM

The Wayne Art Center will welcome new and returning campers to our studios as we officially ‘kick-off’ the 29th season of Summer Art Camp. Children and families are invited to meet Summer Art Camp instructors and get a taste of what’s in store for Summer 2012. Guests will also have the opportunity to have a fun caricature drawn by local illustration artist and Summer Art Camp Instructor, Tony Squadroni. 

All activities are presented free & open to the public.

• Children’s Spring Classes Begin, Monday, April 16

Classes are available in a range of media, including: Drawing & Painting, Cartooning, Fashion Design, Printmaking, General Art, Mommy & Me, Ceramics, Jewelry & Photography.

• Mother’s Day Tea, Saturday May 12, 2-4 PM

Celebrate Mom andGrandma by treating them to an authentic sit-down tea in our elegant kitchen area, led by Chef Kim, who has prepared a delicious menu of tea sandwiches and sweets. Then, join Nancy Peters in the creation of a unique decorated plant-pot and ‘sprouting cookie’ hand decorated by you. Local musicians to treat guests to a short selection of music in the activity break.
