Thefts, Car Break Ins, Burglary: Radnor Crime Blotter

Radnor Police reported several thefts, vehicle break ins, and more in the township in recent days. See the latest crime details here.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Radnor shared details on recent crime incidents in the township.

Incidents shared by police occurred between Feb. 26 and Feb. 20.

Attempted Retail Theft - 550 E. Lancaster Ave. - T.J. Maxx Store
On Monday, Feb. 26, at approximately 5 p.m. an attempted retail theft occurred at the T.J. Maxx Store located at 550 E. Lancaster Ave. Store security reports a white female wearing a white hooded sweatshirt was observed attempting to leave the store with unpaid items. When confronted by store employees, the female dropped the items and fled the area on foot.

Residential Burglary - unit block of Wistar Road
A home in the unit block of Wistar Road was burglarized. Radnor Police were dispatched for an audible alarm to a home in the unit block of Wistar Road on Sunday, Feb. 25, at approximately 9:04 p.m. Officers immediately discovered forced entry into the home. While checking the interior of the residence, obvious signs of a burglary were discovered.

Theft from Vehicle - 800 block of Maple Glen Lane
Sometime between 8 p.m. on Feb. 22 and 1 p.m. on Feb. 23, sometime stole items from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 800 block of Maple Glen Lane. The unlocked vehicle had a wallet with cash and various credit cards stolen from it.

Vehicle Entered - 600 block of Longchamps Drive
On Friday, Feb. 23 at approximately 1:21 a.m. a vehicle parked in a driveway of the 600 block of Longchamps Drive was entered. Video showed an unknown person entered the unlocked vehicle, but then left without taking anything.

Vehicle entered overnight - 700 block of Hamilton Road
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, the resident of the 700 block of Hamilton Road reports their vehicle was entered some time overnight. The resident reports their vehicle was parked and unlocked in the driveway overnight and when they entered the vehicle in the morning the contents of the glove box were strewn all about the vehicle. At the time of the report, nothing was missing from the car.

Theft from Auto - 700 block of Newtown Road
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, at approximately 4:50 a.m., the resident's car parked in the driveway of the 700 block of Newtown Road was entered and had the garage door opener stolen. The garage door was opened by the unknown actors, but nothing else appears to have been taken at this time.

Retail Theft - 201 Bryn Mawr Ave. - Wawa
On Wednesday, Feb. 21 at approximately 2:49 a.m. a retail theft occurred at the Wawa Store, located at 201 Bryn Mawr Avenue. Store employees advised that a black female entered the store on two separate occasions and removed items without making payment.

Retail Theft - 550 E. Lancaster Ave. - Home Sense Store
On Feb. 20, the Home Sense Store, located at 550 E. Lancaster Ave. reported a retail theft that had occurred on Feb. 9 at approximately 5:50 p.m. At that time two black males exited the store with a shopping cart full of items without making payment. Feb. 21 8:19 a.m.
