Reardon, who is a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from La Salle University and attended the Delaware County Community College Municipal Police Academy, brings nine years of experience to her new position. She has served as a law enforcement officer with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Darby Borough Police Department, and Radnor Township Police Department. Additionally, Reardon has been a member of the Delaware County Drug Task Force, served as a field training officer and as an RPD Acting Sergeant.
“Our police force is stronger with the promotion of Sgt. Reardon,” said Superintendent of Police Christopher B. Flanagan. “Our priority is to ensure that we have personnel who are not only properly prepared but also fully committed to ensuring that Radnor is safe and secure, partnering hand-in-hand with the community we serve.”

In her new role as Sergeant, Reardon will be responsible for reviewing patrol assignments, incident reports, arrests, and other material for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. She will monitor and mentor officers under her supervision and assist in the implementation of the Police Department’s Community Policing philosophy.
“I greatly appreciate all the opportunities Radnor Township and the police department have given me,” said Reardon. “Being promoted to the rank of Sgt. for the Radnor Township Police Department is an honor and I wouldn't have accomplished any of this without the support of my bosses, my peers, and my family.”
Reardon’s promotion followed the recent retirement of Sgt. Joe Maguire, one of the longest-serving sergeants in Township history. The newly promoted sergeant is known as a very dependable officer, conscientious, calm, and level-headed and she has consistency preformed top of class according to Superintendent Flanagan.
“We all agree she brings compassion and humanity to the profession, while still upholding the laws. Everyone she interacts with in the community and law enforcement is always impressed by her intelligence and confidence,” said White. “Thank you to the Board of Commissioners for promoting Sgt. Reardon as she is truly deserving of the role and congratulations to the Superintendent Flanagan on his growing team.”
