Truck Hits Train Bridge In Wayne Tuesday

A truck got stuck after striking the train bridge spanning Chamounix Road in Wayne Tuesday morning, closing the road briefly.

WAYNE, PA — Radnor Township Police said a truck hit the train bridge on Chamounix Road, closing is briefly Tuesday morning.

Police sent an alert to the community at about 8:35 a.m. Tuesday.

A photo shared by police shows a white box truck stuck on the south side of the bridge, which has a listed clearance of 9 feet 10 inches.

The strike closed between St. David’s and East Lancaster avenues for a short while, but the road has since reopened.
