Villanova Native Developing Late Night Talk Show For Fox

VILLANOVA, PA – A Villanova native and Archbishop Carroll grad who made a name for himself in the comedy world could be getting his own late night talk show on Fox, as Variety reports the Main Line comedian is developing a weekly comedy show for the network.

Neal Brennan – who you may know as the co-creator of Dave Chappelle's short lived hit Comedy Central Show "Chappelle's Show" or as a writer on Saturday Night Live, among his many comedic credits – is working to get his own late night talk show on Fox, according to Variety.

If it comes to fruition, the show would focus on political and cultural topics with man on the street interviews and sketches, Variety reports.

Brennan will host the show, as well as write, direct, and executive produce, should it get picked up by the network.

Fox is the lone major network without a late night talk show.

Back in April, Patch reported Brennan was working with Comedy Central to develop a show called "Home for the Weekend" which would take Brennan to his guest's hometowns.

There's no word on the status of the "Home for the Weekend" pilot.
