Wayne Business Burglarized On New Year's Eve

Radnor Township Police said a man and woman broke into a Lancaster Avenue store, stole items, then drove off in a stolen BMW.

WAYNE, PA — A man and woman broke into a Wayne store and stole various items, including jewelry and cash, on New Year's Eve police said.

According to police, the burglary occurred at about 8:07 a.m. on Dec. 31 at a business on the 500 block of East Lancaster Avenue in Wayne.

Video showed a man and woman pry open the business's front door then steal fur coats, jewelry, and cash, police said.

After taking the items, the pair got into a silver BMW X5 SUV with dark tinted windows. According to police, the BMW had a New York State license plate, GHW-4779, which was stolen out of New York City.

The man was wearing a silver coat with a hood and the woman was wearing a dark coat with fur around the hood.
