West Chester University officials have decided to cancel all daytime and night classes for Friday based on weather alerts calling for snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches.
According to the alert sent to students and staff, only essential personnel should report to the school. Online classes will commence as scheduled.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Special Weather Statement for much of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, saying snow could cause some slippery conditions and could change to rain during the afternoon and into the evening.
