• In Pennsylvania, a snake bite stopped an alleged kidnapping, police say (thecooldown.com) — An alleged kidnapping and assault that began in Renovo on September 13 reportedly ended only after a snake bit one of the suspects, prompting a trip to Bucktail Medical Center and giving the victim a chance to reach family for help. State police charged two Lock Haven residents, who were arraigned in Clinton County and released on bail while the case moves forward.
