15 Inches of Snow Already Reported In Manayunk

There is already more than 15 inches of snow on the ground jn Philadelphia, and the storm is forecasted to last at least another 12 hours.

Philadelphia fire crews measured up to that amount at 7 a.m. as snowfall as continued to accumulate throughout the day.

Snow drifts were piling up to four feet.

Chester County’s Emergency Operations Center reports the storm will reach upwards of 30 inches in the area.

Snow is expected to continue through Sunday morning. Residents are asked to stay off the roads and avoid travel.
