1st Roxborough Music Festival Coming To Gorgas Park June 2
The first-ever Roxborough Music Festival will bring seven musical acts to Ridge Avenue, as well as artists, crafters, food, and kids fun.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – Gorgas Park in Roxborough will play host to the 1st Annual Roxborough Music Festival in June, bringing various musical acts, artists, foods, and crafters to the park.
The festival will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Gorgas Park, 6300 Ridge Ave., on Saturday, June 2 in conjunction with Parks of Tap.
Parks on Tap will be held in Gorgas Park Wednesday, May 30 through Sunday, June 3.

The festival is free to attend and open to all ages.
Seven musical acts with regional and national recognition will perform at the festival starting at 3 p.m.

They are:
- Ben Arnold & the 48 Hour Orchestra
- Stargazer Lily
- Matt Spitko
- Stella Ruze
- Arc Divers
- Matt Rineer
- Ooh La La
WXPN’s Dan Reed will serve as host at the music stage.
The day will feature kid’s rides and games in addition to local artists, crafters, and foods.
The Roxborough Music Festival is a reincarnation of the Roxborough Solstice Festival that happened in Gorgas Park the last four years, but with a twist.
Music will be performed near Ridge Avenue and will have all the excitement that only a street music festival can generate.
The Roxborough Music Festival is being presented by Friends of Gorgas Park in partnership with the Roxborough Development Corporation.
The festival is presented by DNB First Bank.
In the event of inclement weather, the festival will be held Sunday, June 3.
