$40K In Equipment, Materials Taken From Roxborough Construction Site

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — $40,000 worth of equipment and materials were stolen in a Roxborough commercial burglary recently, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said the theft occurred at about 4:56 a.m. Feb. 9 at 3838 Pechin Ave. in Roxborough.

According to police, a truck with a flatbed gooseneck trailer was seen on camera pulling up to a construction site at that address, time, and date.

Two men in orange construction vests eventually loaded two skid steering front loaders on the trailer, police said.

They also took two spools of copper, according to police.

The men were seen leaving the area, heading south, on Ridge Avenue at about 5:25 a.m.
