5 Miler For CHOP To Run Along Manayunk's Towpath
The scenic Manayunk run will be for a great cause.

MANAYUNK -- MANAYUNK -- The 5forCHOP 5-Mile Run is a 5-Mile Trail Run benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, on May 21st at 8:30 a.m.
The race starts and finished at Venice Island Performing Arts Center.
The course goes along the beautiful Manayunk Canal Tow Path and benefits the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The event features: chip timing, prizes for top finishers, a team challenge, kids’ activities, a Flywheel indoor cycling class, pre-race warmup workout, free performance T-shirts and more.

The 5forCHOP Run is being presented by the Care for Rare Campaign, a group of volunteers dedicated to raising research funds for pediatric Evans syndrome and 1,000 other rare childhood diseases. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, selected as the run beneficiary, is in need of more funding to support life-changing research in these two important initiatives.
