Annual Manayunk Arts Festival Is Just Two Months Away

Manayunk will celebrate nearly 30 years of, well... celebrating the arts this summer, as the 28th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival is set for late June and promises tons of arts and crafts along Main Street.

The festival will be held Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 on Main Street in Manayunk. The festival is hosted by the Manayunk Development Corporation.

On Saturday, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and will be held rain or shine.

This year's festival will feature more than 300 artists showcasing their work.

It will also feature the return of the Emerging Artist Tent where new local artists will have their work on display at the new location at Main and Grape streets.

About 200,000 collectors, buyers, and designers are expected to turn out for the 2017 festival, according to organizers.
