Arrest Made In Germantown Barback Shooting: Police

Police said a man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a longtime Germantown bar employee.

PHILADELPHIA — Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a longtime employee at a Germantown bar.

According to Philadelphia Police, Robert Lumpsin, 25, of Philadelphia, was arrested at about 1 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

Lumpsin was charged with murder, robbery, firearms crimes, and more, police said.

He is accused of going into the DelMar Bar on the 300 block of West Chelten Avenue right as the bar was closing at about 2 a.m. on Thursdya, March 21 and shooting 58-year-old Jeffrey Johnson, killing him, police said.
