Attempted Break In At Dalessandro's: Police
Police said a man tried to break into the cheesesteak business in the early morning hours of April 16.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia said a man tried to break in to a popular Roxborough cheesesteak spot.
According to police, a man tried to burglarized Dalessandro’s Steaks located, 600 Wendover St., in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 16.
The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on that day.

A man was seen on video parking a blue or gray box van with dents on the passenger side at the business.
He then tried to break the lock to the front door with an unknown object.

After several minutes, he left the area in the van, heading south on Henry Ave.
Police said this man is a suspect in three other similar burglaries in the area over the last two weeks.
The man is described as black and in his mid 30s. He was wearing a gray "GAP" hoodie with a dark jacket.
