Bank Robber Sought By Philly Police And FBI, Reward Offered
The man seen here came into a Philadelphia bank Sunday and made off with cash after giving a demand note to a teller, authorities said.
PHILADELPHIA – The FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a bank on Sunday. A reward is being offered for information that leads to his capture.
Authorities said the man seen here robbed the Republic Bank branch on the 7300 block of Frankford Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16.
The man came up to the counter and gave the teller a threatening note and made a verbal demand for money, authorities said.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank on foot heading north on Frankford Avenue, then west on Ryan Avenue, according to authorities.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid 20s to early 30s. He has a light complexion, stands about 6 feet tall, a medium build, and has a goatee.

He was wearing a black puffy jacket with the hood up, blue jeans, and dark sneakers.
Authorities said he is considered armed and dangerous.
