Bells Mill & Valley Green Bridge Rehab Project Open House In Roxborough Tuesday

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Roxborough residents are invited to an open house event that will discuss the Bells Mill and Valley Green Bridge rehabilitation project.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Wolcoff Conference Room at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.

The rehabilitation project will address extensive physical deterioration and scour issues, proposed measures to restore the more than 100-year-old structures, and improve resilience to flooding events.

Community members are invited to attend the event to learn about the history of the bridges, review current bridge conditions, see proposed improvements and scope of work, understand vehicular and pedestrian detour plans, and see the projected timeline.

Project team members will be available to answer questions, and survey forms will be provided for community feedback.
