Ben Franklin Bridge To Join Structures Around The World To Support Orlando
The Ben Franklin Bridge will be lit up in rainbow colors in support of the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.

Philadelphia, PA -- The Ben Franklin Bridge will be illuminated in rainbow colors beginning on Wednesday in honor of the victims of the Orlando shooting, the Delaware River Port Authority has announced.
The bridge will join other bridges, monuments, and significant structures around the country and around the world in similar tributes, including the Eiffel Tower.

The Ben Franklin Bridge lighting will begin on Wednesday, June 15 and continue through Saturday, June 18.

The mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 12 was the deadliest in American history. A total of 49 people were killed and 53 were injured.

- June 19 – Blue to celebrate Father’s Day.
- June 27 through July 4 – Red, white and blue to celebrate Independence Day.
