AMY (Academy of the Middle Years) Northwest was selected as the Philadelphia School District school to officially ring the opening bell for the start of the 2012-2013 school year today.
At the event I joined Superintendent Hite, SRC Chairman Pedro Ramos, other dignitaries and the students, faculty and staff of AMY.
AMY is housed in the former Levering School.
