Car Broken Into On Kelly Drive, Stolen Credit Card Used At Target

A vehicle parked on Kelly Drive had a window smashed and a bag stolen from it. The thief then used stolen credit cards to shop at Target.

PHILADELPHIA – After a vehicle was broken into on Kelly Drive and items including credit cards were stolen, the stolen card was used to buy more than $330 worth of gift cards from a Philadelphia Target store, police said.

According to police, a woman parked her vehicle on the 4200 block of Kelly Drive at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, June 25.

About 30 minutes later she returned to find her rear passenger side window broken and a black and white back pack missing from the vehicle, police said.

The bag contained a wallet with various credit cards inside it, according to police.

Then at about 6 p.m., a man was seen on security footage at the Monument Drive Target making a $334.08 gift card purchase with one of the stolen cards, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man with a medium complexion and a beard. He was wearing glasses, a dark baseball cap, a black T-shirt, dark cargo pants, and a large-faced watch on his right wrist, police said.
