Carjacking In Roxborough Leads To Kidnapping, Robbery, More Charges
Two 18-year-old men are facing numerous charges in connection with a Sunday afternoon carjacking at a Roxborough gas station Sunday.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — After a carjacking at a Roxborough gas station, two 18-year-old men are facing a slew of charges.
Jeremiah Thomas, 18, of Philadelphia, and Milan Dean-Brewer, 18, of Norristown, are charged with kidnapping, robbery of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, recklessly endangering another person, and related crimes.
Their charges stem from a Sunday evening incident in Roxborough.

According to Action News, the two are accused of getting into a running vehicle that had a child inside at about 4 p.m. at a gas station on the 8900 block of Ridge Avenue.
The child's father was inside the business making a purchase, Fox 29 reports.

Action News reports the two drove off — but the child was able to safely get out of the vehicle when it stopped — and ended up crashing into a Whitemarsh Township police vehicle, leading to their arrest.
Both Thomas and Dean-Brewer are in custody in Philadelphia and are scheduled for preliminary hearings on Oct. 20, court records show.
