THE CHORISTERS Presents "Shades of Light", Lauridsen’s LUX AETERNA & Explores Light — Its Forms & Absence!

In the acoustically magnificent Trinity Lutheran Church (Lansdale, PA), THE CHORISTERS presents “Shades of Light” including Lauridsen’s LUX AETERNA (full orchestra version) & works by Palestrina, Bach, Ellington, Hogan, Whitacre, Gjeilo, & Mahler. Founder & Artist Director David M. Spitko will take the audience on a spectacular journey exploring “light” in its many forms as well as its absence!

Suzanne DuPlantis, noted for her moving renditions of songs & intimacy with the audience, will be soloist. Ms. Duplantis “deeply imprints the music with her personality with great emotional underpinning” (The Philadelphia Inquirer).

The Choristers performs challenging and/or unjustly neglected choral works at a high standard of musicianship. The Choristers [www.TheChoristers.org] is a 65–70 voice auditioned concert choir celebrating its 38th season.
