Driver Pulled From Burning Van After East Falls Crash: Reports

PHILADELPHIA – A good samaritan pulled a person from a burning van after an early-morning crash in Philadelphia's East Falls section Wednesday, according to reports.

The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. on Roosevelt Boulevard near Fox Street in the East Falls neighborhood, according to Action News.

The good Samaritan, John Michulka of Marcus Hook, was in the area for work and pulled the driver from the van which had overturned and burst into flames when he saw the crash, according to CBS Philadelphia.

The driver is reportedly in stable condition following the crash.

"I was scared for his life and whoever was in the car," Michulka told CBS. "I have a children myself. I wanted to help him."
