This is a charity event that kicks off the Hc (Hydrocephalus- "water on the brain") season in Philadelphia. This is MAD RIVER Bar & Grill – Manayunk’s 2nd year supporting the efforts of www.HEAR-US.net

Imagine this…One of the country’s finest Neurosurgeons tells you… “There is nothing more we can do for your daughter. Take her home and make the necessary arrangements.” My daughter Emma at 4 1/2 years old, was a month away from her 35th brain surgery when her doctor said those words to me. Michaela, a 15 year old, is presently recovering from her 181st brain surgery; the only doctor willing to treat her is 2,500 miles away in CA.
