                     July 10, 11, & 12, 2012

                     from 8:30 am  – 3:30 pm &

              THURSDAY EVENING SHOWCASE

                           July 12 at 7 pm

                      For children ages 8-13

           Children will participate and experience

           Classes in Theatre Arts - Acting & Music

           including Voice and Movement/Dance

           with members of OAP.

Through the class rotation, participants will develop a short musical revue with some scene work. Students will have *some* lines to memorize along with songs and choreography.  Students will help design and construct costumes and sets!

Tuition Cost of the 3-day program is $100 per child.

Students should bring their own lunches Tuesday and Wednesday, and OAP will provide a pizza party on Thursday.

Capacity of CAP is set for 24 children.

Deadline to register is July 1.

Old Academy Players [ www.oldacademyplayers.org ], in continuous performances since 1923, is a non-profit community theater located in the East Falls (3540-44 Indian Queen Lane; Philadelphia, PA 19129; 215-843-1109) section of Philadelphia.  The Old Academy building was constructed in 1819 and has been the OAP home since 1932.  Both Grace Kelly and Robert Prosky began their acting careers on the OAP stage.
