Young Artist Workshops *Sunday February 5th, March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th 1pm – 2pm
The workshop is for children of all ages and coincides with Gallery Show Openings at MRAC! Come enjoy the art and some food and snacks while your young artist gets to make a project in our upstairs studio. Students will enjoy exploring different methods of art making, including printmaking, collage, mixed media, and watercolor. They will learn about making colors, textures, and patterns while they are introduced to a variety of artists through artist-inspired projects, such as Jasper Johns’ “found art” sculpture, Henri Matisse’s paper cutouts, and Marc Chagall’s dreamscapes.
Please pre-register no later than a week in advance. $15 per workshop. $40 for all 3 workshops.
