Fall Restaurant Week Hits Manayunk Sept 17 Through Sept 28

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Get ready Manayunk-area foodies, as Fall Restaurant Week in Manayunk will be held for two weeks from Sept. 17 through Sept. 28.

Manayunk’s thriving food scene will be on display as more than 15 restaurants will offer dishes that can only be tasted during the two-week event for fixed menu prices of $15, $25, and $35.

"Manayunk’s Restaurant Week is a great way for people to come to our district and try something new," said Jane Lipton, Executive Director of the Manayunk Development Corporation. "We have a very diverse food scene here, and I’m excited to have people from all over the city come to Manayunk to get a taste of what our businesses have to offer."

Manayunk’s restaurants will all use apples as the highlighted ingredient in their menus.

Manayunk food scene staple, Bourbon Blue, will feature cider-glazed country ribs, The Couch Tomato will serve up an apple and bacon pizza, and Taqueria Feliz is offering a sweet ending to a great meal with apple and dulce de leche cheesecake, just to name a few options.

Newer restaurants, such as La Roca and Ryan’s Pub, will also have three-course menus to choose from.

"Manayunk is coming off of a very busy summer with the success of Stroll the Street on Thursday nights," said Manayunk Development Corporation Board President and owner of Bourbon Blue, Brendan McGrew. "We’re really looking forward to keeping the momentum going and ensuring Manayunk has something for everyone as we enter the fall season."
