Fattah's Roxborough Roommate Testifies At Fraud Trial: Report
The Congressman's son would allegedly use his well-known name to get to the front of lines at clubs.

The Roxborough roommate of Chaka Fattah Jr. testified at the Congressman’s son’s fraud trial on October 20, according to reports, describing the influence of his former business partner and bunkmate.
Matthew Amato testified against Fattah, 32, who is charged with defrauding banks, filing false income-tax returns, and cheating the Philadelphia School District, according to Philly.com.
Amato said that he and Fattah lived for free on Henry Avenue in Roxborough because Fattah knew the owner of the apartment building, the report states. The pair also worked together to create a luxury concierge company with a target clientele of the super rich.

They drew loans from three banks for a total of $65,000, but used the money mostly to fund a lavish lifestyle, including buying a BMW to drive around, the report states. None of their prospective clients ever saw the BMW.
Amato walked away from the venture when they became heavily in debt, but when the FBI approached him to tape-record his conversations with Fattah for their investigation, he agreed, the report states.
